Public Safety Printing Service (PSPS) is owned and operated by Lee
Wanglie, a formerly disabled, but now retired Police Officer. It was
started eleven years ago after Lee, at age sixty, returned to college to
obtain a degree in Graphic Arts with the purpose of supplementing his
pension. The purpose of PSPS was to design and create Trading Cards
for Police K-9 and Mounted Patrol Units. It began with just two
departments, but in the last eleven years, by "word of mouth" it has
grown to over fifty-one Police and Sheriff's Departments throughout the
states of Minnesota and North Dakota. And now, thanks to Dave
Kettering, "Sasha's partner, it has now expanded into trading cards for
several therapy dog teams as well.
