Smile..... Someone may be taking your picture
As a volunteer, you take on an additional responsibility when photographs are
taken by any one other than family or the person you may be visiting. Sounds
adults. Minnesota has taken an exceptional position in protecting these
individuals. Photographs are no exclusion.
Chances are there will be no problem, but parents are totally in tune that you
should be requesting a photo release. No one wants to find their picture, or that
of their child on the Internet without prior knowledge and consent. This is an
important, but a small hurdle. If you are taking a photo, carry a couple of
consent forms with your camera. Want to learn more or obtain a consent form

Registered teams from across the metro area once again hit the campus at
the University of Minnesota Law School for Life Balance week. This is the
fourth year and our furry partners are still creating smiles.

Finding Purpose
Entering into the New Year, Fox News 9 presented
the news video clip with Team Dave and Sasha . The clip was
close to a year in the making until the passing of the main
headliner, who had a lot to share. Please focus on Catherine
and it's not difficult to see the role of animal assisted activity

April is Autism Awareness Month, but the condition itself is
lifelong. With the increasing statistics, it touches every one
of us. Most of us either have a family member, relative or
friend whose life has been impacted by autism.
Each year Fraser School holds an event at the Mall of
America to promote awareness and as a fundraiser to help
assist impacted families. Again, one local therapy animal
group joins the effort to promote that awareness
lifelong. With the increasing statistics, it touches every one
of us. Most of us either have a family member, relative or
friend whose life has been impacted by autism.
