Grooming day involves what!
Hair, nails, teeth, ears,
guess a girl can never
look too good!
My appointment with Dr. Nicole is with mixed blessings.
She is very impressed with my progress (of course!).
However, I don't even want to tell you how they take my
temperature!  Humiliating!  Shots, height, weight, heart,
lungs and it goes on and on.  Does she know she's
getting paperwork to complete too?
The Medical Screening -
This is the most important stop in my journey

Hi! My name is Tulip.  I'm a 2 year old, half Cavalier, half Chihuaha.  My
hobbies include hanging out with my parents, playing tuggsie, and
feeling the sunshine on my face.  My greatest aspiration in life is to be
super special and share my joy with everybody.  Oh, by the way mom
thinks you might be interested to know that I have a disability.

Miss Tulip reporting for training!  I
love being happy and making other
people happy, and that's why I told
my mom we should become a
therapy dog team.  And so we did!
Here is a photo journal of my
progress.

My parents weren't sure how mobile I would be, but they decided I should start learning how to handle
children right away, and now I'm quite the expert.  I just love teaching little humans new things, like how to
give me treats (I'll just put it in my pocket for later..) and how to pet me (not on top of the head, please!)
I first realized I had a
calling when I started
visiting my great-great
Aunt Lorraine in the
nursing home. She
loves petting me and I
love being petted, so
we got along famously.
