The animal therapy world is a small one and many of you may
recognize Dave Kettering.  Like yourself, he's passionate about his
work with his partner Sasha.   It has been several years since Eleven
Who Care has honored a therapy team, so this is an exciting year.

What is extraordinary about Dave?  He puts in numerous hours like
many of you that may be reading this page, but if you were to ask the
party that nominated him, it was for a very different reason.

Dave has spent many hours in the community and in canine classes
promoting the concept of animal therapy and the benefits of such
interaction that we are all familiar with.  However, there is still another
side of this story.  It's the hours on end of "behind the scenes work",
with several facilities, providing additional training and establishing
protocols that keep the animals, handlers, and the residents or
patients safe and allow that special connection to take place.  That is
a special role that can never be overstated.

For that special effort,
thank you Dave.
